I appreciate all the support and kind words sent my way by emerging and established photographers interested in boudoir and will be adding a category on my blog to share informative resources such as this helpful article on the business of photography, so be sure to look for these on my blog!

The Art of Boudoir
I believe that in order to stay fresh in photography you have to constantly try on new ideas and concepts.
I am lucky because many of my clients come without any preset ideas and so together, we are able to co-create some fun sessions based on a theme, an era, an idea, a feeling, whatever! The creative process can certainly take you places you'd never thought you'd go!
But still, sometimes the ideas and concepts I come up with may be somewhat...shall we say...out of the box? Whether it's recreating a 13th century painting or juxtaposing beauty against ugliness by shooting in a grungy cobwebby basement, sometimes a model is best suited to test out some of these concepts. I was recently published by NUDE Magazine -- a black and white international fine art publication as a result of a personal project I submitted.
I am a member of the Model Mayhem community, where I find many of my models.
But if you are a model or are interested in contributing your time and talent toward a creative project - NOT a standard boudoir photography session - do send me an email to see if there are any current art projects and concepts I may be working on. Note: All models must sign a model release form acknowledging my copyright of the works and granting permission to use the images to further my art, marketing efforts, and portfolio development.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
