Our Boudoir-ific Judge Has Spoken! The Winning "What Is True Beauty?" Contest Submissions are.....

A huge thank you to all those who submitted to our What is Beauty? contest! We were so impressed with the responses and it was truly a difficult decision for our judge -- Abby! She put a lot of thought into the winning submissions and I couldn't love her choices more! May we inspire women of every age, shape, color and size!

Congratulations ladies! Please contact me by end of October to book your 1-hour shoot! I look forward to realizing YOUR definition of beauty in the images we capture!

Winning Entry #1

What does true beauty mean to me? I suppose when I was in my insecure teen years, beauty meant long hair, no acne, electric blue eyeliner and shiny lip gloss. In my 20s, beauty meant no makeup and the hippy/grunge college look. In my 30s beauty meant the ability to take a shower in between the baby feedings, diaper changes and spit ups. Now, in my 40s I see that beauty comes from within. When you are beautiful on the interior, it radiates a luminous glow to your exterior. True beauty emits from the depths of your soul.

Winning Entry #2

Beauty: a feeling, an experience, a journey.

Feeling the moment my mind, heart and body have connected and my feminine energy is freed.

Experience of being with myself, letting judgment and expectation fall away.

The journey to discovering my gifts, sharing them with the world and marveling at the impact.

Surrendering to my true essence is beauty.

Winning Entry #3

"Beauty is a state of mind; shown in one’s personality, their gracefulness and self-respect. It’s the intelligent way a person speaks, their passion, resilience, and gentleness. It’s confidence yet humbleness. It's being open-minded. It’s something extraordinary in a person’s soul; a "thing" no one person can describe the same."

Winning Entry #4

To me, beauty is feeling good about yourself, the chance to let go of preconceived notions and feel sexy and confident after a life of feeling inferior. Beauty is not being the perfect weight or height, but feeling like the perfect woman in the eyes of someone who loves you.

Winning Entry #5

True beauty arises when I am living from the divine feminine.  When I am grounded in my truth, feeling my connection to spirit and all living things, living from a place of kindness, love, integrity, confidence and passion....I am then able to realize my most beautiful expression of self.
